Re: Janet Elliott and Recreation Playsystems
I am pleased to present this letter as a way of expressing our appreciation for having the opportunity to work with Janet Elliott during the purchase and installation of our creative playground. I served on a committee of five people that represented our school. There were many factors that caused our committee to choose Janet and her company as the company with whom we wished to work.
No Pressure: We began to seek information about a creative about a year before we knew we would be ready to think about installation. During this time, Janet was available to make presentations to our School Council and to respond to our many questions. At no time did we feel pressure to proceed with our decision. We wanted to let our students have some input and Janet encouraged this.
Knowledge: Janet shared her expertise about play systems and about the need for play on behalf of children. We appreciated her skill and experience in these areas. We appreciated the fact that she had many questions to ask of us. This allowed her to assess our wishes and to create a playsystem that met the needs of our students and community. This was important for us as we realized that there would be many hours when the creative would be used outside of school time. Janet was always sincere and pleasant in her approach.
Local Company: This was a key factor during all of our deliberations. As our committee collected information, it was easy to communicate with Janet. We valued her quick feedback to us and her availability to follow-up on concerns or questions, which we developed.
Commitment: As I mentioned earlier, our process was over an extended length of time. At no time did Janet miss a meeting or delay in following up on a point, which we asked her to consider. As a committee, we knew we could count on Janet to be reliable and punctual.
Competitive: As our committee considered our needs and the quotes, which we had gathered, the final price from Recreation Playsystems was very competitive with the market. When dealing with limited budgets, the final price does have significant impact. Our committee believed that we received good value for our hard earned money.
